Angelica & Robert Jacoby’s first restaurant, Bit O’Scotland in Westwood, was known for its delicious food – in particular – Fish and Chips. After 17 years, they closed Bit O’Scotland and opened John O’Groats which serves breakfast and lunch and still serves Bit O’Scotland’s incredible fish and chips.
In 2009, their son Paul Tyler opened the John O’Groats Grille & Pub in Encino that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a full bar and beautiful patio. He has continued the tradition of serving “Nothing but the best for the best”. Paul has created signature dishes for both locations including breakfast favorites: Huevos O’Groats (featured in LA. Magazine’s Top 100 Dishes) and Vegetarian Hash.

The original John O’Groats is located in the Rancho Park area of Los Angeles at 10516 W. Pico Blvd., and the John O’Groats Grille & Pub is located at 16120 Ventura Blvd. in Encino.
